FAQ & Support

ReqSnap requests access to all websites you visit, since it needs to observe network traffic on any page you browse. This access is used only to detect and capture fetch/XHR responses locally on your device, never to read or transmit unrelated page content.

Your captured API data, URLs, headers, and response bodies, stays only in your browser's local storage. It's never uploaded, synced, or sent to us or anyone else. We do collect anonymous product-usage analytics (e.g., "a capture was saved") tied to a randomly generated, non-identifying ID, but these events never include any part of a captured URL, header, or response body. No remote code is ever executed.

The free version saves up to the last 10 responses. Upgrading to Pro unlocks a higher storage limit.

ReqSnap captures both fetch and XMLHttpRequest (XHR) calls made by the active tab as you browse normally, no configuration needed.
