Privacy Policy
01 What Data We Collect
Account information (Free and Pro users)
- Email address, collected when you create an account or sign in. Used solely for authentication and to manage your subscription.
Google Maps review content (Pro users only)
- When you trigger an AI summary, up to 50 publicly visible reviews from the Google Maps page you are currently viewing are sent to our servers for processing. This content is not linked to your identity and is not stored after the AI response is returned.
Subscription and session data
- Your subscription tier (free or pro) and authentication session token are stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device except as part of authenticated API requests to verify your account.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics unrelated to the extension's core function, or any purpose beyond what is described here.
03 Third-Party Services
To deliver the extension's functionality, your data passes through the following sub-processors:
Anthropic
AI processing of review text (Pro tier only). Review content is sent to Anthropic's API and is subject to their privacy policy. We do not use the zero data retention API; however, review text is public data from Google Maps and contains no personal information about the user.

- Email address: Retained for as long as your account exists.
- Review content: Not stored. It is sent to Anthropic's API and discarded once the response is returned.
- Local storage: Cleared when you log out or uninstall the extension.
05 Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes. Data is only shared with the sub-processors listed above as strictly necessary to operate the extension.
06 Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will delete your account from Supabase within 30 days.
07 Children's Privacy
Unboxxt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
08 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the extension evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
